RWE is active globally
Essen has been RWE’s home for more than 120 years. Construction of the new campus shows that the company is both deeply rooted in the Ruhr area and has its sights firmly set on the future. On the premises of the old Victoria Mathias mine, where the first RWE power plant once stood, the past and the future have been united.
By 2022, four new office buildings that will be able to accommodate around 3,000 employees will be built on this site. Modern workstations, short distances, and an open, transparent atmosphere that fosters creative exchanges – the new campus is a symbol of how the new RWE works and communicates across borders.
